Ohkay dear.. heres the update ohkay.. sheesh.. .XP
hmm kie just got back from the 4th advance drill course..
ohkay. here are things that i got upon graduating.(without the ranks)
here are the things that happen during the 4 days 3 nights aite?
Sunday(Day 0)
Well booked in earlier cause baby had to help out with some s1 stuff so, why i too book in? its because i dun wanna wake up early and get ready since the reporting time for the course was am. so yeaps.. why wake up early to travel when you can use that time to have a few more min of rest..
in camp.. not much happen.. just that everyone was shocked to see dc booking in. there were 2 groups of people.. those going for adc and those going for spec course.. so yeaps.. there was quite a number of people ahh..and those going for adc as trainers were giving me around 1 headed to east office to zzzZZZz but ended up rolling about.. wasnt sure if i was exited or scared.. or maybe both... hmm wells.. so manage to sleep at around 4-5 am i think... it was sufficient though..
thats it for day 0..
Monday(Day 1)
Woke up at around 7.. cause the trainers had to wake up earlier before the trainees arrive..
so woke up got ready and the course begin.. it was hard knowing your girlfriend had to be someone taking charge of you.. well.. what to do...
Alright here comes the interesting part.. we were suppose to report by 8... but me and haikal were at the cook house at 7.30 i think so yeaps we were early.. we were going to report at the registration counter but due to some cock-ups it was being delayed.. so we ask permission from one of the trainer to ask if we could have a quick breakfast, she said " yeah, we still have quite some time before the registration starts" so upon getting the green light we continued to have our breakfast...
and then... (while we were halfway through our meals)
the registration booth open... so everyone seated at the canteen was making their way to the mph..
so we were trying our best to quickly finish our food when we were shouted at across the cookhouse..
we were damn shock ahh.. i mean we were eating sia..
furthermore he was someone we know..
we were so pissed that we were really thinking twice for going this course. haish.. but nvm..it was their misscom.. so yeaps.. we just carried on..
after reporting and stuff sat in platoon lvl.. where met a few other friends from different district.. yeah after that started with opening speech...was quite dry ahh.. as most of it was just theory... we were shown how the badges are suppose to be placed ect2...
so yeaps.. thats it for day one..
Tuesday (Day 2)
Woke up as early as 5.30... had to got ready since there morning run.. haish... was damn lazy..5.50 we all fall in at block 246. do a lil stretching and off we go... it was only one round.. it was said to be a cadance(not sure if its the right spelling) run..hmm we were suppoe to run together in steps.. fast runner in front faster runner at the back.. reason being since we are running in steps.. it means that we are going to follow the speed of the first few runners.. so yeaps.. and along the way we cheered... and shockingly after the run i dun feel tired at all.. its quite fun actually with jason making up all sorts of songs.. so yeaps..
after all that is done.. we went for breakfast.. nasi lemak..
hmm it was ohkay since i was quite hungry...washed up after that.. den continue with theory again..
wasnt as long as yesterday so it was alright.. we learned parade marking first.. before going for lunch.. it was quite interesting..
after lunch... was the start of practical lessons already.. so we started with advance foot drill.. and also we were going to be assesed on it.. so yeaps.. didnt did quite well since its been a long time since i gave a proper command..so yeaps..got a lil upset.. seeing the rest all knowing what they were doing so yeaps.. but nvm,.
hmm.. went for dinner after that.. den went to learning room to discuss about how the graduation ceremony's going to be like.. spent a few hours there before heading to bed..
Wednesday (Day 3)
Day 3 was the best as it was almost all practical. we sword drill. colors drill and lastly arms drill.. it was interesting as i've always wanted to learn sword and colors drill..
hmm and yeah both was more difficult den i thought..
so since we spend the whole day out in the sun.. i became darker.. ):
but it was worth it...
kie so after dinner, i and another 3 other platoon mate of mine had to give a briefing regarding the graduation ceremony.. so yeaps.. after which we join the rest at the learning room..
since we have nothing else to discuss about we for a circle and have a sharing session..
everyone shared their half on the greatest take away from the camp..
so yeaps..
mine was " i really didnt expect it would be this way. the reason we didnt felt down at any point of time was because at the end of the day.. we know how to cheer ourselves up.. with all the jokers in the group... "
hehes.. so yeah.. went to bed after that..
Day 4 (Final Day)
Guess what... it rain in the morning! hahas.. i woke up as my alarm sounded off.. but when i woke up and look out of the window.. it was raining.. and so no hek to hok i went back to sleep.. hehes
but after a while someone shouted saying we have to fall in on ground lvl..
haish.. so much for going to have extra sleep..
went down..just to get another sets of instruction..
haiya waste time oni.. hahas.. who oni the pc.. XP
kie so yeah the instruction given was to pack our stuff and do area cleaning and stuff so yeaps..
went up sleep a bit more den start doing all that..
hmm so when the rain started to cool down abit.. we went to have out breakfast before having out closing speech from rsm.. after which we went to have our lunch and start our rehearsal for the ceremony..
it was really in a mess state as there were no fixed ic.. so everyone or should i say no one knows what to do...
so yeah.. helped out abit.. then there were people giving us problems to.. and those who just got to know that they had fail the course ect2..
haish.. it was sad hearing all that...
the clock strikes 4..
and so the ceremony begin..
thank god it ran smoothly and as plan.. so yeaps.. after that.. we have to cleared the chair but the cadet officers we excluded as it was our turn to get our badges and cert...
so yeaps went back to learning room 3 and 4.. where we got our stuff..
after which we had to fall in for the last time before we bersurai!
hehes.. and so finally im a supernumerary!!! hahas!
Before i end i would like to thank all my trainers especially my pc/gf for being there always for me!!
